I was just reading another blog about an eight week exercise/budget/diet challenge and was thinking maybe they are more realistic goals. Since I was sick with a cold a couple of weeks ago karate has become quite hard and my fitness feels like it is lost. So onto some new goals.
- Karate twice per week
- Treadmill other five days for 30mins per day
- Cook dinner six nights per week (I have been doing this in an effort to save money and we are all loving the extra vegies and tasty dinners)
- Pay off some outstanding debts (I am really good at paying off debts but there seem to be so many at the moment lol)
- Protein powder every morning either in a smoothie or with porridge (the protein powder helps me to eat healthily all day and avoid sugary fatty snack foods. Unfortunately the last pack I bought was artifically sweetened and vanilla flavoured and it is just awful. So I haven't had any for a little while and it has made a huge difference not having it).
I am not into winter and I am cheering myself up with thoughts of Christmas, parties and holidays away, swimming, shorts and school holidays.
